Visiontek 88 SI Meter Interface Unit

VISIONTEK 88 SI Meter Interface Unit is microprocessor based Slave device works on multi drop (Master /slave) network topology. It employs RS485 for data transfer in half duplex mode of operation and interface with Master device DCU. It communicates using RS232 interface to the energy meter via optical port and through RS485 interface with DCU. The MIU periodically reads the data from the meters and stores all the Instantaneous, tamper and load survey as per predefined time intervals in 4 MB nonvolatile memory. MIU stores data up to 90 days in its memory. Highly efficient design of MIU make it compatible to EMI/EMC specifications as per IEC standards.
